Tony
De Marco* joined FMC Financial Group in 1994. He graduated from
Staten Island College and has served seven honorable years in
the United States Navy. Tony has earned the designations of
Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and
Certified Family Business Specialist.
Tony primarily assists clients in
clarifying their vision for their “ideal future”. He assesses
and analyzes where they really are now, and then develop a
written strategic plan with specific action steps designed to help
guide his clients to their stated vision.
He adds value in his role in that he
coordinates with his client’s top advisors to design integrated
financial strategies, taking into account his client’s total
financial picture. He first seeks to understand, then models
out all the best possible alternatives, educates the client,
then proactively creates and, upon client request, implements their strategic game
plan. His goal is for his clients do realize their best solutions with his
help.
His clients hire him to do 3 things:
First, to bring creative design ideas in
the areas of tax minimization strategies, taking into account
income tax, estate and gift tax**, as well as wealth accumulation
and protection.
Second, to coordinate amongst the client’s
already existing advisors, usually their attorney and
accountant, in coordinating the best planning possible.
And most importantly, to act as the
catalyst to get things done – especially those things that his
clients agree are important but no one takes the lead in seeing
that the good ideas get executed.
Tony specializes in helping
clients with income over $150,000 year and/or has around a $3
million or more in net worth. Tony believes that this group,
often the most targeted by financial service professionals, are
best served by a professional who – like Tony – utilizes
“cross-disciplinary” process to approach these client’s for
integrated financial solutions.
